The Chicago Graphic Design Club asked a series of Chicago-based designers to design a t-shirt that responds to the term “family”.

Sean says: The concept of "Family" is a tapestry woven with threads of both joy and melancholy. I count myself fortunate and blessed to be surrounded by a loving and supportive family, both immediate and extended. Yet, my heart often turns to memories of those who have passed, leaving indelible marks on my soul. Among them was my grandmother Connie, a beacon of creativity and inspiration. This shirt serves as a heartfelt tribute to her legacy. It features one of her paintings and a diary entry, adorned with a few graphic embellishments. It is designed to inspire the wearer to embrace their potential and strive to become whatever their heart desires. Let's never forget them.
