The Chicago Graphic Design Club asked a series of Chicago-based designers to design a t-shirt that responds to the term “family”.

Sharon and Guy say: “Family is not only the one you’re born into, but the one you gather along the way, through laughter, heartbreak, growth, and grace. Whether it’s the people who raised you or the friends, mentors, and loved ones who stood by you through life’s ups and downs, they all make up your chosen family. The words on our t-shirt are meant to honor that broad and beautiful definition, they apply to any family, however it’s formed.”
